The UGC NET cutoff has been released for a total of 84 subjects. Persian topped the list with 254 marks while Arabic and Geography stood at 250 marks each. Criminology recorded 246 marks. Arab Culture and Islamic Studies and Yoga followed with 244 marks each.

UGC NET June 2026 was held in CBT mode on 22, 23, 24, 25, 29, 30 June and 5 July 2026, across 655 centres in 286 cities in 87 countries.

Gender-wise registration:

• 55.59% female,
• 44.40% male,
• 0.01% third gender.

Candidates from English, Commerce and Sociology, whose exams are being re-conducted in September, will not receive their result/scorecard now. NTA clarified these will be made available only after the re-conducted examination for these three subjects is completed.

A total of 6,07,151 candidates appeared out of 7,73,806 registered candidates, and 1,47,579 qualified across the three eligibility categories.

As of now, NTA has officailly released the UGC NET June final answer key, today. Those who appeared in the exam must check the June final answer key to estimate your marks. And, the result will soon release on the official website, candidates are advised to keep checking the NTA's website for any update regarding the result.

The UGC NET June 2026 result will be declared based on this final answer key.

• Results will be available on ugcnet.nta.nic.in in PDF format.
