The NEET PG 2026 examination was conducted on August 30, 2026. This year’s examination was held across 1,111 centres in 339 cities, with 2,73,096 candidates registered for the exam. Of these, 2,65,980 candidates appeared, while around 2,63,535 candidates completed the examination, according to reports.

NEET PG Answer Key 2026 LIVE: Response Sheet and Answer Key PDF Download

Candidates should know that the NEET PG 2026 response sheet and answer key will be available in the form of a PDF at natboard website.  Once NBEMS releases both documents, candidates can compare their recorded responses with the official answers and calculate an estimated score according to the prescribed marking scheme. 

NEET PG Answer Key 2026 LIVE: How to File Objections

To file objections once the answer key is released, candidates can follow the process below:

• Go to NAT Board website, natboard.edu.in
• Login to the candidate portal using NEET PG user ID and password
• Click on the NEET PG answer key 2026 link
• Check the answers and response sheet and then click on File Objections tab
• Put the question ID and correct answer.
• Upload the supporting documents and pay the objection filing fee to complete the filing.

Supreme Court's Order to NBEMS on NEET PG Answer Key 2026

NEET PG answer key 2026 process has gained importance as the Supreme Court's order date April 29, 2025, stated that NBEMS should publish raw scores, answer keys and normalization formula used for preparing NEET PG result. 

NBEMS also issued a notice in August 2025 regarding the release of answer key and NEET PG response sheets. 

NBEMS NEET PG 2026 Answer Key LIVE: Provisional and Final

NEET PG answer key 2026 will be released provisionally first. NBEMS will open the objection filling window along with answer key and NEET PG response sheet. Candidates can check and download their provisional answer keys and raise obejctions against it if any. Once the objections window is closed, the authorities will address the objections and release a final key. 

NEET PG Answer Key Live Updates: Raise Objections Against Provisional Key

Students will be allowed to raise objections against the provisional answer key through the login window. They must ensure to do this within the time period specified by the NBEMS board. 

The objections submitted will be considered and subsequently, a final answer key will be released.

Visit the official website natboard.edu.in. 

On the homepage, click on "NEET PG," section and then on "application link."

Then, login with your user id and password. 

Click on the provisional answer key link and it will be displayed on the screen.

Download it. You may raise objections against it also within the specified period. 

NEET PG 2026 Answer Key: PDF to be Released Soon

The NEET PG 2026 provisional answer key will be released online soon. Once the answer key, response sheet and question paper are released, candidates who have appeared for the exam can cross-check the answers and submit any challenges as per the deadline. The challenges on the provisional answer key will be considered by the conducting body before preparing the final answer key. NEET PG results will be issued as per the final answer key.

They need to visit the NAT board website, click on the answer key link, add login details, i.e. application number and password and click on the response sheet link. How To Calculate Marks Using NEET PG Answer Key?

Candidates will be awarded 4 marks for every correct answer, while 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. No marks will be awarded or deducted for questions that are left unanswered.
