DUSU Election 2026: NSUI Candidates for Four Posts

NSUI has also fielded a full panel for the DUSU Election 2026. The organisation has nominated Vijay Shankar Meena for President, Veer Chatrath for Vice-President, Namrata Chaudhary for Secretary and Gopal Chaudhary for Joint Secretary. Voting for all four central posts is taking place today across Delhi University.

The DUSU President Election 2026 features candidates including Yash Dabas of ABVP, Vijay Shankar Meena of NSUI and Ananya Raturi of the AISA-SFI alliance. Seven candidates are in the final contest for the President post, while the four central posts together have 20 candidates in the final list.

DUSU Election 2026: Over 1,100 EVMs Being Used

More than 1,100 electronic voting machines (EVMs) are being used for the DUSU Election 2026. The arrangements include 830 ballot units and 281 control units for polling across Delhi University. The university has also established 12 control rooms to address technical issues involving EVMs during voting.
