Candidates can follow these steps to check and download their UPTET 2026 result:

• Visit the official website of UPESSC, upessc.up.gov.in

• Click on the “UPTET 2026” result link on the homepage

• Enter your registration number and date of birth

• Click Submit to view your result

• Your UPTET 2026 scorecard will appear on the screen

• Download and save the PDF for future use

Currently, UPTET follows an objective (MCQ-based) format, so manual re-evaluation isn't typically offered. However, if you spot a discrepancy in your marks or details, you can still raise it through UPESSC's official grievance redressal channel. 

Passing UPTET means you can now apply for teacher jobs in UP. It does not mean you have a job yet. You still need to wait for a separate vacancy notice and apply through that process to actually get hired.

Since UPTET 2017 have around 9.76 lakh candidates, the exam has nearly doubled in scale to 19.94 lakh in 2026.

Since UPTET 2026 was held in 5 different shifts, UPESSC used a comparative (normalization) evaluation method to ensure fairness — as outlined in Point 9 of the original exam advertisement. This ensures no candidate is disadvantaged by shift-wise difficulty variations.

Out of 7,13,648 candidates who appeared for Paper 1 (Classes 1-5), 5,71,435 have qualified with 80.07% pass rate. Result was declared today, August 26, by UPESSC. Check your scorecard now at upessc.up.gov.in.

• Candidate's name

• Roll number

• Father's name and mother's name

• Overall marks obtained

• Subject-wise marks

• Qualifying status

The result is still awaited. UPESSC held a key meeting on August 25, 2026 to discuss recruitment and exam matters, including a possible UPTET Result 2026 timeline, but no confirmed date has been announced. Around 17.70 lakh candidates who appeared for the exam held on July 2, 3, and 4 are waiting. The result will be released soon on upessc.up.gov.in
