For the calculation of the NEET PG 2026 results, the following marking scheme is used:

• One mark is deducted for wrong answer
• Four marks are awarded for correct answers
• No score for unattempted questions

After the NEET PG result 2026 is announced, qualified candidates will move towards the postgraduate medical admission and counselling process. Candidates should keep their result, scorecard and other required documents ready. Counselling dates and procedures will be notified separately by the respective counselling authorities.

The latest update from the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is that the NEET PG 2026 result will be declared by September 30, 2026. The NBEMS helpdesk has said the result date will not be change as of now, even though the provisional answer key and candidate response sheet are yet to be released. 

The NEET PG 2026 examination was conducted on August 30 and September 5, 2026. NBEMS is expected to release the NEET PG 2026 provisional answer key, response sheet and question paper PDF soon. The response sheet will contain the answers marked by students while the question paper and answer key will be as per the set attempted by students on the exam day. Candidates who have appeared for the NEET PG exams need to keep their credentials ready with them to check their answer key and download the response sheet and question paper. 

The NEET PG result 2026 link has not been activated yet. Candidates should not mistake third-party pages or unofficial links for the official result portal. Once NBEMS announces the result, the official result link will be made available through its examination website.
